Sameer Ahmad is an investment banker with 28 years of experience in Europe, the Middle East, Emerging Africa and South East Asia. He started his career at Kidder Peabody, subsequently UBS, in the EM team in London, before moving to Global Emerging Markets, a boutique investment bank specializing in EM out of London.

In Bangladesh he set up the structured finance unit of IIDFC and served as treasury consultant with the PricewaterhouseCoopers team restructuring Agrani Bank before establishing RSA Capital.

He launched the first-ever zero coupon bond, the first step-down syndicated loan facility, the first unsecured international term loan facility for a microfinance institution, and the world's first micro-credit securitization in the Bangladesh market.

He is a Director of IPDC Finance Limited and Chairman of its Executive Committee, sits on the board of Guardian Life Insurance, and is Chairman & CEO of RSA Capital (DIFC), duly regulated by the DFSA.

Kazi Mahmood Sattar has over 40 years of banking experience, mostly with international banks. He began at ANZ Grindlays Bank in 1981, with postings in Mumbai and Melbourne, and established Bangladesh's first investment banking arm before heading Corporate & Investment Banking at ANZ Grindlays Bangladesh in 1995.

He led two large domestic commercial banks as Managing Director & CEO, modernizing both to compete with international banks.

He was Independent Director and Chairman of the Board Executive Committee of BRAC Bank, and is currently Chairman of Blue Wealth Assets Limited and IPDC Finance Limited, one of Bangladesh's leading NBFIs.

Hiren Singharay has had a long and outstanding executive career across four banks in three countries in Asia and Europe — from State Bank of India's corporate lending to German clients, to Citibank's expansion into Eastern Europe, Africa and South Asia.

In 2001 he was headhunted by Standard Chartered Bank to lead corporate finance and syndications across Africa, the Middle East and South Asia — a business he led for 14 years.

A regular panellist at IFR, GTR, LMA and Afreximbank conferences, Hiren is Senior Adviser of RSA Capital (DIFC), duly regulated by the DFSA.

Md. Farhad Ahamed is an investment professional with 13+ years of experience in investment management and research in Bangladesh, spanning financial markets, asset valuation, financial modeling and macroeconomic analysis.

He has worked on over US$ 1.1 billion of private and public capital raisings and all aspects of valuation and advisory — buy side, sell side and business formation — beginning his career at RACE Management PCL, Bangladesh's largest private asset management company.

Since joining RSA he has helped conclude landmark deals including the acquisitions of Edotco and IPDC and the Petromax–SHV transaction, and is currently spearheading transactions worth ~US$ 300 million across sectors.
